Daniel Soroff, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist with decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine, cardiac arrhythmia care, clinical research, and medical education. Raised in Newton, Massachusetts, Dr. Soroff developed an early interest in science that led him to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics before pursuing medicine. He received his MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. Following his internal medicine residency, Dr. Soroff completed fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine and cardiac electrophysiology, along with additional training at Hospital San Raffaele’s Cardiac Arrhythmia Service in Milan, Italy. His career has included electrophysiology appointments at hospitals across the United States, as well as an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Soroff has also contributed to research, physician education, and advancements in electrophysiology. His professional approach emphasizes technical expertise, thoughtful communication, integrity, and providing care that benefits his patients. Outside of medicine, he enjoys boating and has operated vessels throughout New England waters for many years.
